Time Flies when we are having fun!
I cannot believe it has been three years since I first captured photos of this family! Back in 2020 I took the Dameron's first family photos with their newborn daughter Ellianna Rose. Soon after I did her 6 month photos, and one year photos before I moved to another state many hours away. However, the starts aligned and this summer I was able to return to my love of Tennessee and capture their family photos again! Little Elliana is not three years old and has grown so much since I last saw her in person, and Derek and Bethany were as dear of friends as ever.
We initially planned a beautiful walk along the river and playing in the low level water, but nature had other plans for us. We came upon the chose location just 24 hours after I last visited, and the pouring rain had flooded the chosen location in several inches of swiftly moving river. So we had to change plans on the fly, but the lord was shining on us that day, and we had beautiful golden hour light shining through the trees on our little riverside photoshoot.
We had a fun time catching up as Elliana ran around with the bubbles, as well as capturing photos by the river, running back and forth along the paths, Ellianna jumping into her parents' arms and swinging around, as well as us all splaying in the water and blowing bubbles at each other. Now I will admit, as so did Derek and Bethany, Ellianna was not in the best mood, but patience and working with the child's wishes is the best way to capture those true candid moments and smiles. And we sure did! I loved how all of theses photos turned out and I am so excited for the next time we get together for another photoshoot!
