Elizabeth's Maternity Shoot
I was so excited when Elizabeth, Alex and I decided on a location for her maternity shoot. Elizabeth wanted to have some near the water, and some actually in the water, and she was not afraid to get wet! We wandered down to the peir at the lagoon and began taking some photos at the start of sunset, and Elizabeth was radiant. She was glowing with smiles and glow as we began capturing photos of her alone, as well as wit her husband Alex. Their love was so obvious as they would embrace and laugh at hair flying around from the wind, or the birds diving for fish. With the setting sun we eventually left their pier to head for the beach, and it was here that the giggles did not stop! Alex and Elizabeth would dance around in the waves, and truly looked like a storybook couple as Alex would dip Elizabeth as the waves came in. Thankfully the water was a wonderful temperature and not cold at all since we all got pretty wet by the end! When we took a break at the swings, we all detangled our hair from the sea wind, myself by putting up my crazy hair, Elizabeth with a quick brush, and Alex made sure to brush his beard and get us in stitches.
This couple is such a joy to have as friends, as they are never afraid to be themselves and have a good laugh goofing off. And it was an amazing blessing to get to capture their love as a growing family. I love how the photos turned out, and I hope to capture more of this beautiful family in the future!
