Emily's Country Shoot
Emily reached out to me about doing a "just because" photoshoot to celebrate her and life, as well as a possible location she wanted to use, and oh boy did I love her suggestion! We went down to a dirt road and had a photoshoot with a country feel right at the start of the day. Emily had several beautiful dresses to wear, and with the sun rising just above the tree line, we had some beautiful light to work with. Every swish of her dress and every smile lit up her face and she dancing in the morning light. Emily even got together a playlist of some of her favorite music to us to dance to as we had fun taking photos. And boy did we have fun! Posing for photos by the fence, using the beautiful old Oak tree with moss hanging down for photos, as well as building a dirt pile to kick for some fun actions photos. And that might have been my favorite move of the day! We did it once for some random fun, but discovered that we had the perfect light for the sun to capture the dirt drifting through the air, and a small rainbow to appear in the light coming through the trees. We had so much fun playing around and capturing the joy we were experiencing. I love so much how these photos turned out, and I am excited to see what other photoshoots I have there in the future!
