This photoshoot was quite fun as we did both family and maternity photos in one session, and since this family is based outside Atlanta we had a fun time searching for the right location. The Gutierrez family are my cousins, and I have had the privilege and joy to see Nick and Kelly fall in love, and see Andrew and Zoe grow up into the amazing young people they are today. It sill blows my mind how old they are now, and that they now have a little baby sister Finley as well. Kelly reached out to me wanting to do both family photos and a maternity shoot in one setting and was looking for a fun location. Since it is winter and I typically do most photoshoots outdoors or historic locations, we had a lot of fun finding the right location. And this one truly was perfect for our needs. We rented out a studio with 9 backdrops and locations to work with and made sure to have some fun tunes going the whole time. We danced and played with Zoe, and made sure to get some of those candid moments with teenager Andrew, but I absolutely adores the sweet quiet moments between each member of the family. I felt so blessed to capture the bond between mother and son, father and daughter, and the sweet calm serenity between husband and wife as they eagerly anticipate their rainbow baby's arrival. Congratulations your guys and I can't wait to meet little Finley in person.
